The Impact Test
The DURA(TM) Technology Process with Proven premium ingredients and
our exclusive DURA(TM) impact modifiers deliver one of the toughest
sidings on the market today.
First an impact test is performed at 23° C (73° F). Then
the siding is frozen to 0° C (32° F), to simulate harsh
weather conditions where a second impact test is performed. The
results show a vinyl siding product that exceeds the ASTM industry
impact standards by an average of 150%.
